The First Performance

The First Performance

Friday November 17 2006 – Seven Club, Courtenay, BC

The bands’ 1st birthday party! The very first beginnings of All In All It’s Just took place in the late fall / early winter of 2005 and it was time to celebrate a very successful first year in a fun, casual bar setting rather than the more formal concert environment. Even though the band was crammed onto a very small stage, they produced the same extraordinary music from past concerts to the delight of the large crowd. There was even dancing. Who says you can’t dance to Pink Floyd music! It was an enjoyable way to end the year. The band took a break over the holiday season and regrouped in early 2007 to begin rehearsing for future tours. (Seven Club later became known as The Bridge, now closed.)

This set list from that time period gives you a good example of what Pink Floyd music was performed that evening. It may not be exact because it was a party atmosphere and things were pretty fluid, but it’s close enough.

A few photographs from the 1st birthday party that gives a feeling for the evening’s performance.

Young Lust

One of the songs from Pink Floyd’s masterpiece The Wall that generally goes unnoticed. It’s about a ‘rock-and-roll refugee’ seeking casual sex to relieve the tedium of touring.

Thanks for coming out! If you landed on this page first and want to start from the beginning, go to The First Concert and view them one-by-one. May the Floyd be with you!
